OUR STORY

Built because wash day shouldn't be a struggle.

CROWNSWELL was founded by Olivier Melisse after watching too many people in his community wrestle with washing their natural hair at home. Existing inflatable basins were tiny, made for short hair, or clinical white plastic designed for medical home care.

We rebuilt the product from the ground up — bigger, deeper, padded, and finished in deep navy with a gold crown that says your hair is your crown.

Our first batch is being manufactured in Foshan with phthalate-free PVC, FDA-grade silicone and a memory foam pillow. Shipping from our US fulfillment center starting August 2026.

When will my order ship?

Our first batch of 600 units ships in August 2026. You'll receive tracking by email one week before shipment.

How does the pre-order work?

You reserve your unit today with a $5 refundable deposit. The remaining balance ($34) is charged 7 days before shipment. You can cancel anytime before shipment for a full refund.

Is the PVC safe?

Yes. We use phthalate-free medical-grade PVC, FDA-compliant, REACH-certified, and California Prop 65 compliant.

Will it fit my locs?

Designed for locs up to 24 inches (60 cm). The neck cradle is 220 mm wide for comfortable positioning.

Do you ship internationally?

Batch 1 ships to the continental US only. International shipping (Canada, EU, UK) opens with batch 2 in Q4 2026.
